How It's Calculated
- Stamp Duty: Calculated at 0.25% for up to 1 year, and 0.5% for 1–5 years under the Maharashtra Stamp Act. Base is calculated on Total Rent.
- Deposit Component: If the refundable deposit exceeds 3 months' rent, 10% of the excess is added to the stamp duty base value.
- Registration Charge: A flat ₹1,000 for Leave & License agreements up to 5 years in Maharashtra.
- Service Charges & GST: Service fees vary by location (Doorstep vs. Walk-in) and property type. GST at 18% is applied exclusively to service charges, not government fees.
